A used Renault Clio I is an interesting choice for a small family car. Despite its compact size it proves to have a really spacious interior and boot, making it good for family weekends outside the town.
The used Renault Clio I provide us with a mixture of some previously proven solutions from the 80’s and fresh inventions of the 90’s. We can choose from a variety of options; 3 or 5 door hatchback, engines from 1. 1 litres to 1. 8 litres, plus the extremely economical 1. 9 litre diesel engine. The used versions are often equipped with an additional LPG installation, but never original so be sure to check its condition before buying. The suspension is hard but reliable and the gearbox works smoothly. The interior of the used Renault Clio I is comfortable and simple in use, though a bit ascetic in design, with its velour seats and uninteresting dashboard. Electric windows and central locking are a nice addition to the car. The lack of power steering makes it difficult to manoeuvre on the parking places, thus the used Renault Clio I is not the best car to choose as a transport for jammed city streets. Drivers of the used Renault Clio I may experience, as in all used Renault cars, some minor but frequent defects of electronic parts and rust on the chassis and lower parts of the car body. All in all, the used Renault Clio I may not be the best choice for a city hatchback but it is still an economical car good for medium-distance travelling.
