This car was first introduced in 2003 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but the production started over two years later, in 2006. It’s a unique machine when comes to the design, but even more amazing features this vehicle hides under the bonnet. Available as a five door hatchback, a used Mitsubishi i is a very good choice if you like small, economical modern vehicles.
The used Mitsubishi i has only one engine available – a small 659cc three cylinder DOHC unit producing 50 horsepower( a few more in the most expensive versions ). Because this is a small city car, there is no sense in giving it a good acceleration and high maximum speed and the used Mitsubishi i is just average in both. The real uniqueness of the vehicle lies in its design – as a rear-midship car it has engine mounted behind the front seats, ahead of the rear axle. This gives more room for legs for the driver and passengers and also lengthens the crumple zone. There is a downside however – the used Mitsubishi i has a little less cargo capacity due to this fact, but as a city car it doesn’t need to have large boot. The car has a four speed automatic gearbox and the suspension consists of MacPherson struts at the front and three link construction at the rear.
